I was totally engrossed in trying to get the stone in focus when I heard a 'harrumph' behind me and jumped about a mile. It was a bloke from the National Coastal Watch tower just seeing what I was up to. This is a voluntary organisation that undertakes great work and the Cape Cornwall lookout is manned every day.
