Kimmeridge Bay
20 January, 2008
Taken in September. In essence I mucked up the polariser and grad hence the slight discolouration in the cloud but I processed it as I liked the warmth on the rock.

Composition-wise, I was trying to get a clear channel between the rocks with a small clip of rock in opposing corners (he says...).

Kimmeridge is about 50 miles or so from my home. I wished I lived nearer as the light there is always changing. Sometimes, as here, the sea can look sparkling.

[1/5 sec @ f/16 - 17mm on 17-40L 0.9 ND grad & polariser]
